Privacy

Last updated 19 August 2026

This page covers studyezer.com, the waitlist site. The Ezer app has its own privacy policy covering accounts, your notes, and the AI features; nothing here speaks for it.

What this site collects

One thing: the email address you type into the waitlist form. When you submit it, three values are stored.

That is the whole record. No name, no IP address, no device or browser details, no location.

What it is used for

To email you when Ezer opens. That is the only reason the list exists, and we intend to use it once. We will not sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

What this site does not do

No cookies. No analytics. No trackers. No advertising pixels. The page stores nothing on your device, neither cookies nor local storage. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a font CDN, so loading the page tells no third party that you visited.

While you are reading, this site contacts no outside server at all. The single external request happens when you submit the form, and it goes to Google Firestore, where the list is kept.

Where it is stored, and who can see it

In Google Cloud Firestore, under our Firebase project. Google processes it as our infrastructure provider; their handling is governed by Google Cloud's terms.

The list cannot be read from the web. The security rules on that collection allow entries to be created and nothing else. There is no reading, editing or deleting from any browser, including ours. It is reachable only through our administrative access.

Entries are keyed by a one-way hash of your address, so signing up twice updates your own entry instead of creating a second one.

Removing yourself

Email hello@studyezer.com and ask, and we will delete your entry. You do not need an account or a reason, and you can ask what we hold for you at the same time. Every email we send you will also carry a way to leave.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and the waitlist is not intended for anyone under 13.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
